Takashimizu is located in Kawamoto, Akita City where three rivers, Omono River, Asahi River, and Taihei River join together. This area has been blessed with good quality of the water. There is also a story that feudal lord Satake who ruled Akita during feudal period, used to draw water for tea ceremony. The water used for sake brewing is very soft. This natural water makes sake mild and sharp finish. In their site, there are two sake brewing house, Senshu-gura and Sennin-gura, storehouse, bottling factory and product warehouse. They does from brewing to shipping in there.

In addition, there is a kids' corner and a local history and folklore material space, which children and adults can appreciate.

A fireworks museum in Daisen City, where "Omagari National Fireworks Competition" is held. It is a facility where visitors can fully enjoy the fireworks through valuable materials, realistic models, and video.

It is the only full-scale museum in Japan that stores and displays original manga. There is a gallery that shows the manga history, culture, and original drawings of famous comics from Japan and overseas. Also, visitors can enjoy manga books, weekly manga magazines, and animations.

Akita Inu Visitor Center is a facility where you can feel the attractions of Akita dogs. There are Akita Dog Museum displays about the origins and features of Akita dogs, Akita Dog Room, and a souvenir shop assorted with Akita Dog themed products. In addition, the view of Odate City can be enjoyed from the 2nd floor terrace.

SHIRAKAMI MORINOEKI is a facility located next to the Shirakami-sanchi World Heritage Conservation Center. There are tourist information, restaurant, and also a shop which sells seasonal mushroom, mountain vegetable, local products as well as mountain climbing equipment. It is convenient as a base facility when you visit mountains of Shirakami.

The facilities provide a tour of Inaniwa Udon Production Facility and experience of Udon making and cooking.

The farm-fresh market "Kata no Mise" sells specialty products of Akita Prefecture and fresh vegetables from the local area. We have a wide selection of sweets such as "rape blossom chiffon cake" and "pumpkin pie".
