SHIRAKAMI MORINOEKI is a facility located next to the Shirakami-sanchi World Heritage Conservation Center. There are tourist information, restaurant, and also a shop which sells seasonal mushroom, mountain vegetable, local products as well as mountain climbing equipment. It is convenient as a base facility when you visit mountains of Shirakami.

The facilities provide a tour of Inaniwa Udon Production Facility and experience of Udon making and cooking.

The farm-fresh market "Kata no Mise" sells specialty products of Akita Prefecture and fresh vegetables from the local area. We have a wide selection of sweets such as "rape blossom chiffon cake" and "pumpkin pie".

We offer you a private villa with hot springs surrounded by nature. Our hot springs resources are drawn directly into a bathtub for 24hours a day. We promise you would spend a wonderful refreshment moment.

You can experience Japanese rural life here. They accept only 1 group in a day, make yourself at home. The owner says 'I'm not fluent English speaker, though happy to welcome guests from other countries."

You can stay Mongolian movable house, Ger. There's a Kisakata beach right in front of the facility. They offer BBQ dinner at an oceanic restaurant nearby.

At Lake Tazawa, you can enjoy various water activities such as cruising with a dog, stand-up paddle boarding with a dog, wakeboarding, banana boating, and more. Equipment rental is available.

Mariee is a dress shop within a 5-minute walk from Akita Station. They sell and rent Yukata (a casual style of Kimono). You can take it home as a souvenir or dress it up to go out as it is.
