Long established store of famous Akita confections has continued about 140 years. We produce “Tofu Kamaboko”, “Tofu Kasutera” and “Sambai mocha” using unchanged recipe and ingredients. Those have been descended as gifts for ceremonial occasions since Edo era.
“Tofu Kamaboko” is a local confection which made from Tofu and minced fish. It is sweetened slightly and steamed. “Sambai mochi” is traditional mochi confection particular to rice-producing region. It has unique soft texture like mochi but deliciousness of red soy bean paste spread in your mouth as you chew.

Yokote is the central city of the south part of Akita Prefecture, where the history and culture are alive. Yokote Plaza Hotel is located in front of JR Yokote Station.
