Our inn is in the center of the Kisakata town, and there is a station, bank, hospital, supermarket, post office, and park around here. National Route 7 is nearby so it's accessible.
We serve fresh delicious fish dishes that come from local Kisakata fishing port. Especially, we are proud of the Iwagaki oyster in summer.

Since the source that springs off from Chokai mountain is made up of sulfur ingredients, our hot springs can be expected to have effects on atopy as well as skin diseases. In addition, there is the radium ore, it is a very unique hot springs which can enjoy two kinds of benefits.
Also, we serve fresh fish caught on that day for dinner.

It has a natural hot spring with different quality of the source. All are light brown, and we alternate the bathroom for Gentlemen and Ladies daily.

Syohoen is a Japanese style inn which uses prestigious residence of shoya (village headman). The wooden building is about 100 years old and designated as a National Registered Tangible Cultural Property. Little grove of about 400 years old firs rise up on the premises. Those have been designated as a Natural Monument of Daisen City.
Many Tangible Cultural Properties such as “Cha-bento (Tea ceremony utensils and lunch box)” used by Satake clan, the Lord of Akita Domain are also displayed in their private museum. The large garden is beautifully colored by several ten kinds of wild grasses and flowers in each season.
All of our hot springs resources are drawn directly in the all of bathtubs. Reservable open-air bath made of Japanese cypress is for the exclusive use of guests.
Local specialty dish is Japanese mitten crab which is caught in Omonogawa River behind of the inn.
