Yuze Hotel is surrounded by abundant nature and clear stream of Yoneshiro River. There is a large public bath with Gensen Kakenagashi for male and female its resource is counted as one of the three major hot springs of beauty in Japan, "Seseragino-yu Nagomi" outdoor bath which you can closely listen to the sound of stream, and another outdoor bath for female renovated in the end of 2015.

Hime-no-Yu is located in the middle between Lake Towada and Lake Tazawa.
Traditional Japanese course dinner using seasonal ingredients is served.

This is a hot spring inn in the Matagi village which is the birthplace of Matagi means the hunter.
You can see seasonal rice scenery and magnificent nature from the open-air bath of the inn. After soaking in the hot springs, please enjoy the local cuisine and "Doburoku" that is crude Japanese sake.
Also next to the inn, there is a Matagi Material Museum, where hunting gear designated as tangible folk cultural property of the country is exhibited. The surrounding area has "Moriyoshizan" which is famous of mountain's flowers and "Yasu-no-Taki", waterfall, selected as the second place of 100 Japanese waterfall selections, so please use the accommodation as a sightseeing base too.

All rooms surrounded by Shirakami mountains and the Japan Sea are an ocean view one.
The sea, the mountain, the Akita Shirakami station are all within 3 minutes away from the accommodation so it's a favorable location.
You can enjoy the nature, such as sea kayaking, climbing the Futatsui mountain, strolling in the beech forest. In addition, you can experience making food such as bread and pizza by using Shirakami-Kodama ferment, Soba (one of the Japanese popular noodle), and Tofu (healthy food with beans). Also, craft classes that can make shellfish straps and chopsticks have been well received.
