Takashimizu is located in Kawamoto, Akita City where three rivers, Omono River, Asahi River, and Taihei River join together. This area has been blessed with good quality of the water. There is also a story that feudal lord Satake who ruled Akita during feudal period, used to draw water for tea ceremony. The water used for sake brewing is very soft. This natural water makes sake mild and sharp finish. In their site, there are two sake brewing house, Senshu-gura and Sennin-gura, storehouse, bottling factory and product warehouse. They does from brewing to shipping in there.

Surrounded by magnificent nature, this facility uses plenty of Akita cedar. In the farm-fresh and specialty market, visitors can find fresh vegetables and special products from the northern part of Akita Prefecture. Also they can enjoy the meal at Koikoi restaurant while seeing the Yoneshiro River. In addition, there is a kids' corner and a local history and folklore material space, which children and adults can appreciate.
