Surrounded by magnificent nature, this facility uses plenty of Akita cedar. In the farm-fresh and specialty market, visitors can find fresh vegetables and special products from the northern part of Akita Prefecture. Also they can enjoy the meal at Koikoi restaurant while seeing the Yoneshiro River. In addition, there is a kids' corner and a local history and folklore material space, which children and adults can appreciate.

Akita Inu Visitor Center is a facility where you can feel the attractions of Akita dogs. There are Akita Dog Museum displays about the origins and features of Akita dogs, Akita Dog Room, and a souvenir shop assorted with Akita Dog themed products. SHIRAKAMI MORINOEKI is a facility located next to the Shirakami-sanchi World Heritage Conservation Center. There are tourist information, restaurant, and also a shop which sells seasonal mushroom, mountain vegetable, local products as well as mountain climbing equipment.
