Omagari Empire Hotel opened in 1985 near JR Omagari Station, Daisen-city, Akita-prefecture. Many residents utilize this hotel for wedding and party. Guests can enjoy an expansive vies of the Sea of Japan. "Hatahata" means a sandfish. As the name suggests, there are bathtubs designed in the motif of sandfish fishery ships.
