Tsuru-no-yu Onsen is nestled deep in the mountains. We have four kinds of hot springs each of them come from different resources. Yama-no-imo Nabe, hotpot of Chinese yam dumpling is one of the specialties of this area. Country dishes using local and seasonal ingredients comfort your mind and body.

Yama-no-yado annex of Tsuru-no-yu Onsen is surrounded by beech forest of Nyuto Onsenkyo. We offer milky-white hot springs and local cuisine served at side of Irori which is traditional style of fireplace. Yama-no-imo Nabe, hotpot of Chinese yam dumpling is our specialty dish.

The Akita Furusato-mura is a recreation facility that can be enjoyed regardless of the weather. In addition to the area where optical illusion is exhibited, planetariums, studio in which can make handmade, craft exhibition hall with Akita traditional crafts, and Akita Prefectural museum of modern art also exists. There is also a restaurant where you can taste regional cuisine and locals' favorite food, as well as shops where you can buy souvenirs, confectionery, and gifts of Akita including Japanese Sake.

There is wonderful food culture such as ”Sannnai Imonoko(stickey potatos)”, “Iburigakko(pickles)”, “Sannnai Ninjin(traditional carrot)”, “grape”, “Sannai Touji(Japanese Sake)” and “Buckwheat Noodle” . We pride ourselves on providing natural hot springs come from the foot of Mt. Akita-Komagatake. We have an open-air bath with 1 meter depth. Immerse yourself in the hot springs to heal your body and soul.
We also consider accessibility in our facility. You can enjoy the beautiful view of Lake Tazawa and Komagatake from the restaurant on 2nd floor where is accessible with elevator. In addition, safety grab bars are installed in the bathroom. Our staffs help you for your comfortable stay.
