Herb World AKITA has their concept that is "Relaxing garden of the street where the sea breeze blowing". Many types of flowers and fruit trees, including world herbs, are cultivated in the site garden with a total area of 20,000 ㎡.

We provide Akita sightseeing information from Tohoku's largest roadside rest area "Nemun-no-oka".
The 1st floor has some souvenir shops such as Akita specialty goods and local products.
On the 2nd floor, there is a restaurant serving various menu such as popular seafood bowl (called Kaisen-don), Yuri beef, and original Ramen noodle.
On the 4th floor, there is a natural hot spring and you can enjoy the sunset set in the Sea of Japan.
From the free observation tower on the 6th floor, you can see the Japan Sea, Chokai Mountain, and Natural Treasure Kuju-kushima Islands.

We serve fresh delicious fish dishes that come from local Kisakata fishing port. Especially, we are proud of the Iwagaki oyster in summer.

Since the source that springs off from Chokai mountain is made up of sulfur ingredients, our hot springs can be expected to have effects on atopy as well as skin diseases. In addition, there is the radium ore, it is a very unique hot springs which can enjoy two kinds of benefits.

Our hotel reopened in April, 2015. We have 32 guest rooms. 7 rooms are facing Mt. Chokai and 25 rooms are facing the Sea of Japan. We serve dishes with seasonal ingredients, mainly sea foods.

It is located in Nikaho City Tourism Center "Nikahotto" and it is open from 9 am to 9 pm. We provide sightseeing information throughout Akita Prefecture and Yamagata Prefecture Shonai area.
For example, we introduce information such as 'Geopark' centered on Mount Chokai, other sightseeing spots featuring Nikaho's rich nature and history.
