• 外観 Exterior

  

  山形県境に近い道の駅。いつも賑わっている。
  １階に東北最大級の物産館、４階には日本海が望める展望風呂がある。

  Located close to the Yamagata Prefecture border, the area is always lively. The first floor houses Tohoku's largest souvenir shop. There is an observation deck with views of the Sea of Japan on the fourth floor.

  建物裏側には芝生の広場があり、夕陽の絶景スポットになっている。

  建物前に駐車場あり。
  一般車約３２０台のほか大型車用１５台、障がい者用が２台ある。
  画像の表示看板は駐車場の場所が先にあることを示すもので、この看板の横が障がい者用駐車場ではない。

  The parking lot in front has spaces for 320 cars, 15 buses, and 2 handicapped spaces. The handicapped spaces are located next to the sign pictured in the photo telling visitors where the parking lot is.

  障がい者用駐車スペース2台あり。北側の２４時間利用可能なトイレの前にある。

  駐車場からの導線は、段差部分はスロープになっている。また点字ブロックも設置されている。

  The is a ramp leading from the parking and bumpy tiles to assist the seeing impaired.

  入口幅は１つ目のドア２３０ｃｍ、２つ目のドア２０４ｃｍ。いずれもセンサー式の自動ドアで段差はない。

  There are two automatic sliding doors at the entrance. The outer is 230cm wide, the inner 204cm wide. There are no steps.

• 北側入口（建物向かって右側） North Entrance（Right of the Building）

  

  入口幅は１つ目のドア９０ｃｍ、２つ目のドア９３ｃｍ。いずれもセンサー式自動ドア。

  There are two automatic sliding doors. The outer is 90cm wide, the inner 93cm wide.

• 北側入口（建物向かって右側） North Entrance（Right of the Building）

  

  ２つ目のドア下にレール１ｃｍの段差あり。

  The rail running along the bottom of the inner door creates a 1cm step.

• 正面ウッドデッキ Front Deck

  

  正面と北側入口の間にウッドデッキの軽食スペースあり。段差部分には簡易スロープが設置されている。

  There is a deck for enjoying light meals located between the front and north entrances. There is a ramp leading up to the deck.

• エレベーター Elevators

  

  エレベーターは２台。いずれも、入口幅８０ｃｍ、横幅１４０ｃｍ、奥行１３２ｃｍ。

  There are two elevators both with an 80cm wide door. The elevator itself 140cm x 132cm.

  左右ほぼ同じ設備で、手すり、低操作ボタン、音声案内あるが、左側のみ後方上部に鏡あり。点字表示は右側のみ。

  Both elevators feature handrails, low buttons and audio guidance, but only the left one has a mirror and only the right one has braille.

• エスカレーター Escalator

  

  ２階レストランにはエスカレーターも利用できる。

  There is an escalator leading to the second floor restaurant.

• 物産館（１階） Souvenir Shop (1st floor)

  

  １階入口入ってすぐにある物産館。県内のお土産が幅広く取り揃えられている。
  メインの通路幅１０３ｃｍで車いすでもゆったり通行できる。

  The souvenir shop is located on the first floor right after entering. It sells a wide selection of Akita products. The aisle is 103cm wide and easy for wheelchairs to move around.

  一部通路幅が狭いところは５５ｃｍで車いすでの通行は難しい。

  The aisle does narrow to 55cm wide at one point which is difficult for wheelchairs.

  ６階に展望台があり、象潟周辺の風景を眺めることができる。画像は日本海側。

  There is an elevator which leads to the observation deck on the sixth floor with views of the Kisakata area and Sea of Japan.

  料金は1,000円／時間。要予約。

  There is a karaoke space on the third floor with two private rooms available. There are no steps at the entrance or in the aisle. ￥1,000 per hour, reservations required.

大浴場

• 眺海の湯・金波（女湯） Chokai no Yu （Women's Bath）

  

  ４階の展望風呂。日本海を眺めることができる天然温泉。
  入口に約１０ｃｍの段差があるが、長さ２０２ｃｍ、傾斜５度のスロープになっている。
  入口・通路幅は１３０ｃｍ。
  男湯（銀波）も造りは同じ。
  車いすは介助の方がいれば利用可能。

  Fine view open-air bath on the 4th floor. You can view the Sea of Japan from the natural hot spring bath. The 10cm level difference at the entrance is covered by a 202cm slope which gradient is 5 degrees. The entrance/ passage width is 130cm. The make of the men’s bath is the same. Wheelchair can be used if accompanied by a care giver.

  There is a handrail leading into the bath which is 55cm deep. The brim of the bath is 20cm wide and 9cm high.

  洗い場はタイルが敷かれている。濡れているとやや滑る感じがあるので、注意した方がいい。

  The shower area is tiled and can be slippery when wet.

  手すりは向かって右にＬ字固定、左にＵ字可動式。
  壁に温水洗浄便座の操作パネルと緊急ボタンがある。

  On the left-hand side is a fixed L-shaped handrail, and an adjustable U-shaped handrail on the on the right. The toilet controls, including bidety, are found on the wall along with a button to call for assistance in emergencies.

  Chokai Restaurant on the second floor. Hours：11:00 - 20:30 (last order at 20:00). The door-less entryway is 103cm wide with no step.

  メインの通路は幅１８２ｃｍ、最少の通路幅７５ｃｍ。
  比較的ゆったりとした広さがある。
  画像左にあるのは子供用いす。

  The main aisle is 182cm wide, 75cm wide at the narrowest. It is relatively spacious. There is a high chair pictured to the left.

  テーブル席９４席。壁一面ガラスになっており、日本海を眺めながら食事ができる。

  There is table seating for 94 with views of the Japanese sea from the windows.
