●By Car --- About 10 minutes from Kazuno-Hachimantai Interchange/ About 1 hour and 15 minutes from Lake Towada/ About 1 hour from Hachimantai
●By Express Bus (bound for Odate) --- About 1 and a half hour from JR Morioka Station → get off the bus at JR Kazuno-Hanawa Station → about 10 minutes by taxi
●By Train --- About 10 minutes by taxi from JR Kazuno-Hanawa station
●By Air --- About 1 hour drive from Odate-Noshiro Airport

Description

This is the largest copper mine historic site in Japan. It has 1300 years of history and you can get a close look of the remains of mining. You can also study its history and mining technology while walking through 1.7 kilometers tunnel. This is the place you can enthusiastically learn about mining.
