This aquarium is in a great location overlooking the Sea of Japan. We display 10,000 creatures of 400 species, including Polar bear and Akita prefecture famous fish "Hatahata".

This is a roadside rest area which has a wide variety of local products such as flowers produced in Showa district in Katagami city which is called “town of flower”, local vegetables, Akita’s souvenirs and special products of Katagami city.
“Restaurant Hana-no-daichi” is getting good reputations from women because it is possible to look flowers while they are having meals.

Yatate Pass is at the Prefectural border of Akita and Aomori.
Odate Yatate Heights, the accommodation of the pass surrounded by Akita's beautiful woods is a space for a relax visit.
It is available to use a hot spring with even day trippers or staying. The open-air bath is a handmade by staff so it makes you feel refreshed.

Our company founded in 1879, manufacturing and selling sake, miso, soy sauce, shochu. In the old brewery store from the Meiji period, brewing microorganisms keep the traditional taste and keep working around the clock. In addition, we renovated the brewery of sake and opened it as Ikuo Nakamura photo gallery "Blue Hall" in November 2009.
