There are free pick-up services with 2 buses. We also offer lift vehicle (please consult us in advance).
Thou this facility is not completely barrier-free, we are making efforts to get as many people as possible can use this facility easily.

You can see the view of Lake Tazawa from season to season. You can also enjoy the hot spring which enables you to view Lake Tazawa from all-cypress open-air bath. The hot spring heals wounds, burns, chronic skin diseases and chronic female disorders. Our dishes using local products are getting positive reviews and many customers come here again as repeaters.

Yousei-no-Mori Cottage Laulu is located at the foot of Mt. Moriyoshi. We offer you accommodations that meet your requests, including western style cottage and camp site, and provide enjoyable outdoor sports that can be played through spring, summer and autumn. It is 30 seconds' walk from JR Kakunodate Station to our hotel. We will keep your baggage before check-in if you need. Please drop in when you go out immediately. In "Sakakura Komachi" - our restaurant and tearoom, you can enjoy local dishes of Akita, including Inaniwa Udon, in reasonable price.

There are only 10 rooms in 138,843 square-meter site. Our hotel is located at distance from center area of Kakunodate. Each room features its own private bath tubs that water is flowing directly from the hot spring without circulation. Our dishes are supervised by Chef Hiromitsu Nozaki from well-known restaurant “Waketokuyama” in Minai-Azabu, which was given two stars from Michelin. Omagari Empire Hotel opened in 1985 near JR Omagari Station, Daisen-city, Akita-prefecture. Many residents utilize this hotel for wedding and party. Guests can enjoy an expansive vies of the Sea of Japan. "Hatahata" means a sandfish. As the name suggests, there are bathtubs designed in the motif of sandfish fishery ships. The bathtubs are made of trees or rocks. Please have a good soak in the hot springs. We are proud of dishes with local seafood products. Please try "Happo Shirakami Abalone" that can be tasted throughout a year. This is the hotel where Shirakami Mountains and the Sea of Japan meets!

Our hotel reopened in April, 2015. We have 32 guest rooms. 7 rooms are facing Mt. Chokai and 25 rooms are facing the Sea of Japan. We serve dishes with seasonal ingredients, mainly sea foods.
