Nyuto Hot Spring Village

The foot of Mt. Nyuto, located within the innermost part of Tazawako Kogen, is dotted with seven onsen that are collectively known as Nyuto Onsenkyo (or roughly translated, Nyuto Onsen Village). These secluded hot springs bathhouses are surrounded by ancient beech woodlands, and are said to be a beautiful representation of Japan. Visitors can have an amazing time relaxing in open-air baths while listening to the rustling autumn leaves and nearby running river waters.
