Description
This is a hot spring inn in the Matagi village which is the birthplace of Matagi means the hunter.You can see seasonal rice scenery and magnificent nature from the open-air bath of the inn. After soaking in the hot springs, please enjoy the local cuisine and "Doburoku" that is crude Japanese sake.
Also next to the inn, there is a Matagi Material Museum, where hunting gear designated as tangible folk cultural property of the country is exhibited. The surrounding area has "Moriyoshizan" which is famous of mountain's flowers and "Yasu-no-Taki", waterfall, selected as the second place of 100 Japanese waterfall selections, so please use the accommodation as a sightseeing base too.
